Welcome! Are you considering pulling your child out of school? Are you considering home schooling? WhyshouldIteachathome.com is the place to find information that will give you ammunition to help you make a better dicision.

Home schooling is not an easy task, nor is it glamorous. But if you feel that public education is just not getting your child to a level of proficiency in the basics, (reading, writing, and arithmitic) or if it's a little to liberal for your taste, (such as health education) then you have a couple of alternatives… one of them being Home Schooling.

Even though there are other available schooling options, this web site will be dedicated to home schooling, and its benefits. Our goal is to update the site and the podcasts on a weekly basis, so feel free to read anything posted, listen to the podcasts, and post a comment or two yourself.
